“We offer classes for kids through adults of all levels. Classes focus on all aspects of capoeira: strength, flexibility, movement, endurance, coordination, vocal and instrumental skills, cultural awareness, confidence, teamwork, and community.”

MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS
5:00–6:00 PM: kids capoeira (ages 6–11)
6:00–7:30 PM: teen/adult capoeira
Payment
Drop-in classes are $25 each. For monthly tuition rates, email saltlakecapoeira@gmail.com.
Billing company, Member Solutions, handles billing for students on a monthly payment plan. For drop-in payments, we take cash, check, or Venmo (@jamaika-Romualdo).
INSTRUCTORS
Mestre Jamaika teaches the majority of the classes along with Salt Lake Capoeira instructors who assist under his direction.

From spring through fall, we periodically hold class in the park when weather and air conditions permit. During this time, check our Instagram or Facebook stories, the Salt Lake Capoeira Whatsapp group, or email saltlakecapoeira@gmail.com to verify if class will be held at the park or the Alliance Theater.
